Roger Floren

Roger Floren admits he was not the first person to create a 3-dimensional map of Lake Tahoe. Before kicking off his own company, he saw one labeled "Made in China" and the lake was green. 

Floren identifies more as an engineer than an artist. Each map is cross-grained with depths of the lake and hand-stained with dye he makes himself. He finishes the maps off with a 3D bathymetric chart of the area carved into Baltic birch wood. 

Each map is local made and hand assembled by people who truly appreciate Tahoe.
